Are you passionate about IP? We have exciting news for you!
The IPKat is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for GuestKat posts and looking for IP enthusiasts to fill InternKat positions.
GuestKat and InternKat positions are six months (with the possibility of extension), and there are no geographical restrictions on either role. Please bear in mind that you need to have your employer’s permission to be part of the IPKat team.
GuestKats
Typically, GuestKats are in an advanced stage of their career. They contribute to keeping the blog fresh by providing unique perspectives on cutting-edge topics in their field of expertise.
We are looking for individuals interested in blogging with strong IP expertise and good writing skills.
Being a GuestKat offers an exceptional opportunity to bring your posts to a large audience around the world and further develop your IP network.
InternKats
Typically, InternKats are graduate students, trainees, recently qualified people, or IP enthusiasts in career transitions.
InternKats are responsible for Never Too Late posts (example), updating the events calendar (here), and reporting the IPKat blog’s monthly statistics and analytics. In addition, InternKats are invited to write independent posts at least once a month.
We are looking for keen IP enthusiasts to fill the InternKat positions. The selected candidates will receive mentoring and guidance from a member of the permanent IPKat team and training for the role’s tasks. Previous applicants are encouraged to apply.
The deadline for applying to GuestKat and InternKat applications is Monday, 20 January (midnight GMT). Successful candidates will start in February 2025.
