Global IP Awards 2024 recognises leading patent firms

IAM and WTR Managing Editor Trevor Little opens the awards

Almost 200 guests from leading law firms gathered in London’s sumptuous St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel last night for this year’s Global IP Awards. Now in its fifth year, the Global IP Awards highlight the outstanding depth of IP legal expertise available to corporate teams looking to protect and monetise their intellectual property the world over.

More than 175 winners were announced across 77 jurisdictions, selected following in-depth research by the IAM and WTR research teams. With full-time journalists and dedicated researchers based in London, Hong Kong and New York, IAM and sister platform WTR are uniquely placed to provide in-depth reporting and analysis of developments in all the world’s major IP markets. Between them, the teams produce the WTR 1000 and the IAM Patent 1000 each year, as well as the news, analysis, special reports and data intelligence accessible on both platforms.

IAM congratulates all the winners, listed in full below.

Proceeds from the awards dinner go towards supporting the Swawou School for Girls in Sierra Leone.

The Swawou School for Girls was set up in 2008 to offer free, quality education to girls from the Swawou community of Kenema town, eastern Sierra Leone. WTR and IAM’s parent company, Law Business Research, is the major financial supporter of the school.
